How Roosevelt Spent the
Bail-Out Money in 1937!

This is Timberline Lodge in Northern Oregon. It seems fitting to take a look at it today, as it was built during the depression as a WPA project to create jobs. Today millions of people every year still enjoy this National Historic Landmark. Those bail-out dollars have had a lasting impact!

Quick Review: Recommended. This book provides a good background on irrigation, and will help you decide if an irrigation system will be of benefit for you. This would be an excellent book for someone planning to hire a contractor to install an irrigation system. The photo below is of the Oregon Caves Chateau. It's one-of-a-kind, and one of my favorites. Built in 1934, it is essentially unchanged since it was built. The exterior is shingled with tree bark.
